MANILA - The Philippine Olympic Committee's (POC) special incentive trust fund for medalist athletes has started to take shape quickly after the POC's principal partners pledged their full support especially ahead of 2023 when two major regional games are to be staged. POC president Rep. Abraham "Bambol" Tolentino thanked Ramon S. Ang and San Miguel Corp. (SMC) and Manuel V. Pangilinan and his MVP Sports Foundation, Smart and PLDT for committing to the trust fund, a first of its kind in Philippine sports.
