Vaccine and treatments, bringing the futures off of their lows this morning. Still looking a lower open today, but much of this is profit taking after a very strong rally yesterday and last week. Investors saying you know what, im going to take some money off that table. Theres not much stopping big tech, though. We talk about them a lot, every day, but for very good reason. New highs for several of these and one of our bulls will tell us in a few minutes why hes still buying them even at these levels. Of the coronavirus, the slow sometimes bumpy reopenings across the country, to say nothing of the protest and a lot of people on wall street say hey you arent jiving with whats happening on main street and then low and behold we get this stunning jobs report that changes the equation and has people thinking that you know what . Maybe the markets have been right all along as they again tease record territory, virtual ly all of the s p 500 sectors are advancing right now, and the rate on a long bond here a 10 year note as is better known, man oh, man thats practically hyper inflation. Were just around 1 ,. 93 who would have thought a year ago if i were to give you a quote like that that id say it is rocket ing backwards, but it is, especially from where we were, not too many weeks ago remember we were darn near 0 they were talking about negative rates. Now we dont know which ones are going to be built but we just know for boeing which has had rapid troubles over the past year and a half or so to say nothing of the virus shutdown here, but this is welcome news, certainly for the markets and of course the biggest advance today is Gilead Science drug that is showing promise, or could be effective against the coronavirus, its out there a number of other medical concerns that are also involved in the hunt for a vaccine or a treatment and there are a variety of them out there half a dozen is coming up here and i will explain a little bit later but its what gilead is doing thats getting a lot of attention as we stressed so many times here regardless of the stimulus around the virus, what will really move the markets and connell ly proven to be the case is progress on dealing with and or treating the virus so this gilead news is big news in need, Jackie Deangelis on that and much more. House is expected to vote on this tomorrow. Meanwhile the white house is looking ahead to additional stimulus packages. We will talk about that. Impossible. While we were winning the idea lodge call battle, while were winning support of so many young people and working people throughout the country, i have concluded that this battle for the democratic nomination will not be successful and so today i am announcing the suspension of my campaign. Please know that i do not make this decision lightly. In fact it has been a very difficult and painful decision. Over the past few weeks jane and i in consultation with top staff and many of our prominent supporters have made an honest assessment of the prospects for victory. If i believed we had a feasible path to the nomination i would certainly continue the campaign but it is just not there. I know some in our movement would disagree with this decision and would like to fight on on to the last ballot cast at the Democratic Convention. I understand that position, but as i see the crisis gripping the nation, exacerbated by a president unwilling or unable to provide any kind of credible l
