Maj. Gen. Juvymax Uy, the Army's 6th Infantry Division (6ID) commander and concurrent chief of the military-led Joint Task Force Central (JTFC), identified the slain DI member as Adsam, son of Hassan Indal, a field leader of the terror group in Maguindanao.
