Taxi driver who controlled his wife awaits sentence after jury finds him guilty

A TAXI driver has been found guilty of controlling his estranged wife.  Mohit Wadhwa, 37, had denied the charge of coercive and control. But on Friday, a jury at Swindon Crown Court took less than four hours to return a guilty verdict.  Jurors also convicted him of two counts of causing actual bodily harm, but acquitted him of two other ABH charges. Judge Jason Taylor QC remanded the Penhill man in custody. He will be sentenced on a date to be fixed.  Mohit Wadhwa outside Swindon Crown Court Jurors heard that Wadhwa, a taxi driver, and the complainant married in 2007. They had two children together.
