Seven Packers named to 2021 Pro Bowl team
For the first time since 2011, the Packers have seven players part of a Pro Bowl team.
The NFL announcing the rosters for the AFC and NFC teams Monday. Six of the seven players selected from the Packers were also named starters. That is the most for the team since 1967 when eight Packers started.
Those starting for the NFC include:
Quarterback Aaron Rodgers
Running Back Aaron Jones also made the team as a backup.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2021 Pro Bowl game in Las Vegas is canceled. Instead, the NFL is reportedly working with EA Sports, the makers of the Madden NFL video game series, to create a week-long series of events featuring the Pro Bowl members, celebrities and the video game.
