10-year-old Girl Injured in ATV Rollover in JoCo
A ten-year-old girl was injured in an ATV accident that occurred Friday afternoon in Johnson County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a westbound 2012 Polaris, driven by 40-year-old Charles W. Williams of Knob Noster, was on County Road SE 30, one-quarter mile east of County Road SE 501 at at 2:04 p.m., turning from a private drive, when the driver began making a U-turn and the vehicle overturned, ejecting the driver and partially ejecting the passenger.
The 10-year-old girl suffered moderate injuries, and was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center for treatment.
