Port Leyden, N.Y. A 41-year-old Lewis County man has admitted to trying to sell homemade meth and faces up to 30 years in prison, according to federal prosecutors.
Charles W. Whitcher pleaded guilty to distributing and possession with the intent to distribute meth, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of New York said in a release Wednesday. He also pleaded guilty to possession of pseudophedrine with the intent to manufacture meth and maintaining drug-involved premises, prosecutors said.
LOWVILLE — A Lowville resident was charged Tuesday with felony drug possession after a five-month meth and heroin investigation by the Lewis County Drug Task Force.
