Were told the fire broke out at the tara aparments on lowndes hill road. At this point we dont know how bad it is. We have a crew headed to that scene and well pass along more as we get it. 3 all new from overnight. Out of the lowcountry, a Berkeley County deputy is recovering afer being shot. Shot. Investigators say the female deputy was getting out of her car in goose creek around midnight when she was shot. North Charleston Police say the suspect was in a standoff for hours. But just moments ago local media reported the suspect has died from a selfinflicted gunshot wound. The Sheriffs Offices Facebook Says the deputy is in stable condition.
