1525 mph, gusts to 40 mph. Saturday partly sunny. Spotty showers possible late. Highs upper40s. Winds light south. The clouds have been filling in throughout the day. We will be tracking mainly cloudy skies through the evening hours. An area of low pressure will start to wintry mix for parts of our viewing area. After 7 pm, rain showers will spread across the metro into northeast north carolina. Farther north and west, we could potentially see a mix of rain and wet snow. I wouldnt rule out some minor accumulations coating on the north along the middle peninsula, and northern neck. The higher accumulations will be around richmond and points north. The wintry mix will be relatively brief after you probably dont need half of the day, then well dry up through the afternoon. One thing we have to mention is the at times since this will be a quickmoving storm system, we arent concerned with any tidal flooding. Little bit of night early sunday morning, so we could see some spotty rain showers.
