Many of the municipal races in Bedford Countyâs primary election remained unresolved on Thursday as county officials continued to tabulate write-in votes.
Debra Brown, director of elections, said she hoped the more than 2,600 write-in votes submitted by voters during Tuesdayâs primary election would be completed by the end of the day Friday, but said they may not be done until early next week.
A number of seats open on borough councils and township supervisor boards did not have candidates listed on either ballot during the primary election, while most of the candidates listed on the ballots were running unopposed in the primary.
