The Imo State Police Command says it has killed a fugitive, Osita Ogbuiri popularly known as Shina Rambo, who escaped at Owerri custodial centre during the April 5, 2021 jailbreak. Ogbuiri was convicted of kidnapping and murder and sent to jail. The police command said the fugitive, a native of Mmahu in the Ohaji/Egbema local government area of Imo State, was trailed to his hideout and killed by the Command's tactical teams on July 27 at about 0900 hours.
