A Herman, Minn., has been sentenced to restitution for conspiring with two unnamed employees of the Cenex Harvest States elevator to manipulate grain tickets to pay the farmer for more grain than he delivered from 2013 to 2017. Bryan Dallas Crandall is also on probation for a separate state case involving defrauding a vulnerable adult in a land deal.

BRECKENRIDGE, Minn. A judge issued an arrest warrant Tuesday, May 25, for a South Dakota woman who failed to show up for her sentencing after she admitted to letting her ex-boyfriend kill his own son.
Ramona Louise Shortman, 26, of Rosholt, S.D., was supposed to be in Wilkin County District Court Tuesday in Breckenridge to be sentenced for her role in the death of 3-year-old Winter Sky Barker in April 2018. Shortman, who is not Barker s mother, appeared via teleconference.
