The Rivers State collation officer, Professor Charles Adias in the just concluded presidential election has raised the alarm over an alleged threat to his life. The varsity don who is also the vice-chancellor of the Federal University Otuoke, FUO, had during the collation exercise of results addressed journalists in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital, to announce an adjournment due to threats to his life and those of his family members.
Prof Adias, Vice-Chancellor at the Federal University Otuoke, Bayelsa, suspended results collation during the elections on account of the alleged threats.
