Juneau, Alaska (Juneau) - A Ketchikan woman visited the State Trooper post there Tuesday to pick up a firearm that was being returned to her, but got arrested instead.
When she arrived there that evening, Troopers detected what was described in a dispatch an overpowering odor of alcohol emanating from her. So they performed field sobriety tests and 49-year-old Charlene Myers failed and arrested for driving under the influence. She admitted to drinking the night before.
She was jailed at the Ketchikan Correctional Center.
