IRON RIVER Ginger H. LaRock, 76, of Iron River, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2021, at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee.
She was born on Nov. 9, 1944, in Crystal Falls, the daughter of the late Wesley and Marie (DeBaeker) Tuominen. Ginger attended the Crystal Falls schools, graduating from Crystal Falls High School with the Class of 1963.
Ginger married the love of her life, James LaRock on June 26, 1981, at the First Presbyterian Church. The couple celebrated their 39th wedding anniversary in 2020.
She was employed as an LPN for Dr. Ray Koivunen for many years. Her patients were drawn to her easy-going demeanor and upbeat attitude. Ginger had a knack for having fun wherever she went, and her infectious laugh was shared with many. She loved going out for dinner, dancing, posting on Facebook, snowmobiling, going to the casino and traveling.
