Picture: Laura Green A mum and daughter walked four miles along the coastal path from New Brighton to Moreton in fancy dress today for a children s mental health charity. Laura and seven-year-old Brooklyn Green set off from Fort Perch Rock in New Brighton, ending their leisurely walk two hours later at the green hut in Moreton as part of mental health awareness week. Also taking part was Brooklyn s three-year-old sister Bailey and Kelly Gandy, a colleague of Laura s who is in her work bubble. Their efforts have so far raised £387 for PAPYRUS - a national Charity for the Prevention of Young Suicide.

Laura, a support worker at Arrowe Hall - a supported living service for adults aged 21 upward with mental health needs, learning disabilities, autism spectrum conditions, behaviours that may challenge and acquired brain injury - lives in Claughton.
