Tipo-Tipo town was the recipient in Basilan province under the program that targets third-class or lower municipalities through the PCSO Charity Assistance Department. The Rural Health Unit (RHU) of Tipo-Tipo, located along the provincial highway, is also the main hub for medical services to adjacent towns Ungkaya Pukan and Al-Barka. The three towns have a total combined population of 73,382 as of the 2020 census.
