Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) leader and former MLA Inder Iqbal Singh Atwal on Sunday joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Sunday.
Atwal, who quit the SAD to join the saffron party is the son of former Speaker of Punjab Vidhan Sabha and the Deputy Speaker of the 14th Lok Sabha from 2004 to 2009
Along with Inder Iqbal Singh Atwal, his younger brother Jasjeet Singh Atwal and other leaders from Punjab also joined the BJP at the party headquarters.
