Green light for 29-storey Anchorage Gateway was given in October
Manchester contractor Domis Construction has won the job to build a £75m mixed-use tower in Salford Quays for developer Cole Waterhouse.
The 29-storey scheme, known as Anchorage Gateway, will include 4,000sq ft of commercial space and 27 residential storeys providing 290 homes.

The Chapman Taylor-designed scheme was given the green light by the city council in October after a series of design changes which added two shared terraces for residents and several rooftop apartments.
Planning consultant WSP, structural engineer Renaissance, M&E contractor Novo, landscape architect Exterior Architecture, project manager and QS Henry Riley are also on the project team.
