The check presentation ceremony for the 12th annual King of the Wing contest took place on Monday, Aug. 14, at 1 p.m., at the V.I. Children's Museum (VICM) on St. Thomas.

ST. THOMAS, USVI Active-duty military personnel and their families can visit the Virgin Islands Children s Museum free of charge this summer. The Children s Museum has announced that it is joining the Blue Star Museums initiative, a nation-wide program that waives the cost of museum entry for U.S. military personnel and their families.
The program runs from Armed Forces Day (May 15) through Labor Day (September 6) of 2021. Any active-duty individual qualifies, including members of the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard as well as members of the Reserves, National Guard, U.S. Public Health Commissioned Corps, and NOAA Commissioned Corps. Up to five family members will also get free admission.
