彰化縣溪州鄉農民鐘翊禹的芭樂園，在上一波豪雨來了一隻母鳥築巢產蛋，這隻母鳥為了不讓小鳥被雨淋溼，用芭樂葉縫住巢口，母鳥化身「縫紉師」，用嘴喙在芭樂葉上穿孔，再以紗線穿孔縫合，其針線工法連人類都自歎不如，這段難得一見的「鳥兒針線情」此刻正在田間溫馨上演。鐘翊禹說，他昨天在田間套袋時乍然發現這個神奇的鳥巢，只見巢袋口還蓋著芭樂葉，而外表的縫合，恰如其分，毫釐不差，密實地包覆住袋口，整個巢袋有如一顆精密縫合的棒球，針線縫合的痕跡清晰可見，讓人讚歎這隻母鳥真是「大自然的縫紉師」，牠對幼鳥的精心呵護之舉也讓人感受到母愛的偉大。
