India News: The Indian Space Research Organisation (Isro) on Saturday said the Chandrayaan-3 mission has successfully completed two of its three main objectives.
The Chandrayaan-3 is aimed at the lunar south pole, a region with water ice, or frozen water, that could be a source of oxygen, fuel and water for future moon missions or a more permanent moon colony.
The announcement from the startup came hours before ISRO initiates the Automatic Landing Sequence (ALS) of its Vikram lander, starting the ’15 minutes of terror’.
