Hyderabad: Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation, which saw a high-octane electoral fight between ruling TRS and BJP in December last year, will be elected on Thursday.
In the election notification, the Telangana State Election Commission said that the election will be held at 12.30 pm on February 11 and an hour earlier all the 150 corporators would be administered the oath. State election commissioner C Partha Sarathi also said that if for any reason the elections are not held on February 11, it will be postponed to the next day.
