GUWAHATI: The protest called by Dumping Ground Birodhi Mancha (DGBM) against the relocation of the city s dumping ground from Boragaon to Chandrapur continued on Monday.
The garbage collected by the GMC is being dumped on the premises of the closed Thermal Power Project. As the decision has outraged the residents of Chandrapur, police vehicles are escorting the GMC garbage-dumping vehicles to the dumping ground to avoid any untoward incident.
