Monsoon review: Punjab, Haryana witness erratic but near normal rain

According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), Chandigarh Centre, Punjab received a cumulative rainfall of 416.7 mm from June to September 30 this year, which is 5% less than the normal requirement of 439.8 mm. Haryana received 419.6 mm against a normal requirement of 426 mm to 446 mm.
