The Black Liberated Arts Center is celebrating the many accomplishments of swing and jazz guitarist Charlie Christian next week with its music festival bearing the name of the man who grew up in Oklahoma City.
Chanda Graham: Depot Concerts An attorney, former municipal judge & professional vocalist, no one who knows Chanda Graham is surprised to see her transition from courtroom to stage. With deep roots in gospel, Chanda has been blessed to share the stage with greats such as Kirk Franklin, Donnie McClurkin, Dorinda Clark-Cole, Kierra Sheard, the Clark Sisters, and Kim Burrell, to name a few. Transitioning from gospel to jazz and blues was a natural progression in her musical expression. Chanda is also a studio vocalist, recording regularly for Grammy-nominated producer, Wes Sharon. Presently, Chanda is writing in anticipation of releasing her first solo project.
