There have been a few good things to come from the coronavirus pandemic, one is the Famous Fund launched by Jimmy s Famous Seafood.The fund helps struggling restaurants in Baltimore City. The most recent surprise included an appearance by the Brigance Brigade.Like most Baltimore City restaurant owners, Nneka Bilal, owner of Serenity Wine Cafe on Hull Street has had a tough go of it lately.“Since dining was shut down, it really just kind of slowed. I had to let the employees go business is kind of really halted,” Bilal said.Bilal worked at Pizza Hut for 23 years before opening Serenity Wine Cafe one and a half years ago. Desperately trying to figure out ways to stay open in the face of tough restrictions put in place in the city, on Thursday she got a lifeline.Chanda and OJ Brigance spoke on behalf of the Famous Fund, the non-profit started by Jimmy’s Famous Seafood, with some amazing news: $8,000 in cash to help her business.But OJ Brigance had one more thing to add.“We
