MANILA - The new officials of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Manila (RCAM) will assume their posts effective November 15. In a circular issued on Friday, outgoing chancellor Fr. Reginald Malicdem announced the appointment of Fr. Isidro Marinay as his successor. Meanwhile, Fr. Carmelo Arada Jr. will serve as vice chancellor of the archdiocese. Manila Archbishop Jose Cardinal Advincula appointed Marinay and Arada to the posts on Thursday. The new chancellor will also be the Episcopal Vicar for Chancery Matters, Member of College of Consultors, and Member of the Presbyteral Council. Malicdem thanked Advincula for the opportunity to serve the archdiocese. "I take this opportunity to thank you for the opportunity to serve you as Chancellor of the Archdiocese for the past six years," he said. (PNA) }
