Bob Fisher, who has a long history with Henderson State University, will serve as interim chancellor of the Arkadelphia institution when current Chancellor Chuck Ambrose resigns Sept. 15.
Ambrose joined Henderson as chancellor in November 2021 and led a restructure of its academic program and a major staff reduction that kept the university afloat while realigning its mission and resources.
