Kushida has defeated Santos Escobar to become the new NXT Cruiserweight Champion.
Santos Escobar issued an open challenge on tonight s WWE NXT on USA Netowkr. Kushida accepted the challenge and ended up defeating Escobar to capture the title in a surprise victory.
This is the first NXT Cruiserweight Title reign for Kushida.
After making her return to
Raw just before the start of the Women s Championship Match between Rhea Ripley and Asuka, Charlotte Flair made her presence known once again, as she attacked both Ripley and Asuka, resulting in the match ending in a disqualification/no contest.
