Meriden police find ‘ghost gun’ after chasing suspect Meriden police find ‘ghost gun’ after chasing suspect January 08, 2021 04:13PM By Nick Sambides Jr., Record-Journal staff MERIDEN — A local man was charged Friday after police said they found him with a black-market .38-caliber revolver and 61.3 grams of marijuana.  Joseph Alfano, age and address unknown, was charged Friday with criminal possession of a firearm, criminal possession of ammunition, carrying a pistol without a permit, weapons in a motor vehicle, altering or removing identification marks on a firearm, interfering with an officer, possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, possession of a controlled substance, engaging in pursuit, reckless driving and following too closely.
