desantis would win in the new hampshire primary today. it was extraordinary to me for a couple reasons. first of all, he is the governor of new hampshire, it s his own state. second of all, to be candid, he and other gop governors are not the biggest fans in the world of ron desantis. he does not play well in the gubernatorial sandbox. he doesn t get along well with them. for the governor to say that, today, desantis would win is not because of any personal affection. that s a pretty shrewd assessment of where his voters are today. i think that gets to the heart of trump s challenge. even desantis critics and potential opponents like chris sununu are basically talking about his strength in early states, almost a year out from the primaries. look, that s the challenge trump has. if this race does get to a head-to-head versus desantis or somebody else, it ll be a real problem for the former president. yeah, there s no question there. the former president s campaign off to asununu, no
