TMZ: Man who led deputies on chase to Rick Ross s house found dead in jail cell

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation tells TMZ that 40-year-old Chaka Stewart was found unresponsive in his cell at the Clayton County Jail on Saturday.
TMZ says a guard and a medic tried to revive him, but that it was too late.
Stewart was pronounced dead at the jail.
Police say he was in his cell alone, and they do not suspect foul play.

Chaka Stewart, the man who was arrested for trespassing on Rick Ross’s property last week in an effort to avoid the police, died in his jail cell, according to Revolt
On Saturday, Stewart was found unresponsive as a medic and a guard tried to revive him using CPR and other life-saving tactics. However, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
One day prior to his death, Stewart had a phone conversation with his mother, Jacqueline Gordon, and he said that he was being mistreated while in custody.
She recalled him saying that “he was being beaten, confined to his cell and not allowed to take a shower. Gordon also claims that deputies told her son that he would never get out of jail,” Revolt reported.

Reportedly, a guard and a medic who were doing their evening shifts saw Stewart lying there unresponsive. They tried employing life-saving methods but eventually realized that he was actually dead.

Stewartâs mother, Jacqueline, confirmed her son is the one who was captured outside Rossâ Georgia home last week, where officers say he crashed his vehicle and had a weapon on him. Eventually, he was apprehended at gunpoint, and then an intense pursuit through the streets ensued.

A guard and medic who were on duty that evening noticed Stewart lying motionless on the ground attempted life-saving measures to no avail. Stewart was alone at the time of his death and no foul play is suspected.

Stewart’s mother, Jacqueline Gordon, confirmed her son was the same man police were chasing outside of Rick Ross’ estate last week. Stewart wound up crashing his truck outside of Rozay’s home with a gun on him. He was apprehended at gunpoint and taken into police custody.
