Red Sox second baseman Dustin Pedroia announced his retirement Monday morning, ending his 17-year run with the organization. He’ll address the media via Zoom at 1:30 p.m. Monday afternoon to make things official.
Red Sox president/CEO Sam Kennedy, chief baseball officer Chaim Bloom, general manager Brian O’Halloran and manager Alex Cora will also be on the call, which will be live-streamed on all of the team’s social media channels and both NESN and NESN.com. Here’s how to watch:

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - Chatham County Elections Supervisor Russell Bridges will be stepping down from the role at the end of February.
Bridges will be retiring. Billy Wooten will step in as interim supervisor.
It was announced during a special-called Chatham County Board of Elections meeting.

Traffic concerns at heart of proposed mosque expansion on Hoadly Road
The Dar Alnoor mosque and community center, one of the largest in the area, seeks to expand with a new school and a new floor on its existing building.
The Prince William Board of County Supervisors will take up the land-use case at its meeting on Tuesday, February 2, and decide whether to issue a special use permit to allow the expansion.
The mosque would more than quadruple in size, growing from 12,000 square feet in its building that opened in 2007 to nearly 90,000 square feet. A new school would be built next to the existing building at 5404 Hoadly Road, housing a total of 200 children in kindergarten through eighth grade and a daycare center.
