BOSTON, MA – The Boston Red Sox today announced that they have parted ways with Chief Baseball Officer Chaim Bloom.
Bloom was notified of the club’s decision by Red Sox Principal Owner John .
The team made the announcement before the start of a doubleheader against the New York Yankees, who took the first two games of the series to drop Boston into a tie for last.
In a statement, the Red Sox said Bloom was notified of the decision by Red Sox Principal Owner John Henry, Chairman Tom Werner, and President and CEO Sam Kennedy.
