NASSA begins indefinite agitation - Eastern Mirror

Our Correspondent Kohima, June 14 (EMN): Nagaland Assembly Secretariat Service Association (NASSA) on Tuesday started a poster campaign at the Nagaland Legislative Assembly (NLA) as part of its indefinite agitation in continuation of its previous ‘pen down strike’ and ‘wearing of black badges’. This development comes following the expiry of the ultimatum served to the Speaker of NLA to revoke/cancel the appointment order of Dr. PJ Antony (Retired Officer) latest by June 13, 2022. On Tuesday morning, the aggrieved staff gathered at the assembly gate for the poster campaign. Briefing journalists, Joint Action Committee (JAC) Secretary, Sezoto Theyo said the purpose of the gathering is against the illegal appointment of Dr. PJ Antony in the Assembly Secretariat and against the arbitrary framing of certain provisions in the service rules to accommodate his service. He maintained that NASSA initially submitted repeated representations to the NLA Speaker not to extend the service

Turkish officials meets PAC chief Lahore March 13, 2021 LAHORE:A delegation of Turkish company Oz-Pak met Syed Yawar Abbas Bukhari, Chairman Public Accounts Committee (PAC), here on Friday. The Turkish delegation included Managing Director Nizamuddin, Deputy Managing Director Karim Mobin and Project Director Syed Afzal Shah. The delegation conveyed their concerns to the Chairman Public Accounts Committee about the ongoing dispute with the Lahore Waste Management Company (LWMC). They said that LWMC has yet to clear pending payments of the company while it has detained over 300 vehicles out of which only 81 were to be donated to LWMC after the clearance of payment.

Turkish company approaches PAC March 13, 2021 LAHORE: A delegation of Turkish company Oz-Pak met Syed Yawar Abbas Bukhari, Chairman Public Accounts Committee (PAC), here on Friday. The Turkish delegation included Managing Director Nizamuddin, Deputy Managing Director Karim Mobin and Project Director Syed Afzal Shah. The delegation conveyed their concerns to the Chairman Public Accounts Committee about the ongoing dispute with the Lahore Waste Management Company (LWMC). They said that LWMC has yet to clear pending payments of the company while it has detained over 300 vehicles out of which only 81 were to be donated to LWMC after the clearance of payment. Yawar Abbas assured full cooperation to the Turkish company’s delegation and called for resolving all issues by mutual consent. The Chairman further said that Pakistan and Turkey have strong brotherly relations and we stand with our Turkish brothers.
