Taipei, July 16 (CNA) The Nantou District Court granted a request by prosecutors late Friday to detain the suspected gunman in a mass shooting at a biotechnology firm in the county the previous day and to hold him incommunicado, citing the severity of his crimes and the risk of him fleeing Taiwan.
