Rastriya Prajatantra Party Chairman (Kamal Thapa)
KATHMANDU: Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Chairman Kamal Thapa has said that republic, federalism and secularism are the agenda brought by foreigners in Nepal.
On his social media post on Wednesday, claimed that the foreigners imposed republic, federalism and secularism in Nepal through the Lhendup Dorje they prepared in Nepal.
Relating his statement with what Lhendup Dorje, the Sikkimise leader who facilitated Sikkim’s merger into India, had said at the time of declaring Sikkim a republic, Thapa reminded that Dorje had confessed his crime only at his deathbed.
“Lhendup Dorje also claimed that the people of Sikkim had removed the king for the sake of democracy, he confessed he had acted as per the wish of RAW, the Indian intelligence agency, only at this deathbed” he said on his Twitter, adding, “In Nepal also the republic, federalism and secularism are foreign-imposed agendas. Time will disclose everything.”
