The debate of some books in school libraries has been going on for month and the public comment about the issue lasted almost two hours at the school board meeting on Monday night.
BPS administrators have proposed the formation of campus-based advisory committees, chaired by schools’ librarians, to provide input during the decision-making process of selecting and purchasing school library materials.
The study found a wide range of areas to improve that included a lack of communication from the district’s special education department, insufficient training and staffing of special education teachers
The public joined in on the search process for a new superintendent, while also welcoming in a new board member, during two at the Lincoln Center on Monday night.
