Bruriah’s Uvilechticha Vaderech Committee Celebrates the Completion of Chumash Bereishit By Leora Goldstein | January 07, 2021
The Bruriah students enjoyed a siyum on the occasion of finishing the entire Chumash Bereishit this past week, created by the Uvilechticha Vaderech Committee. The Uvilechticha Vaderech Committee, run by junior Leora Goldstein, is one of Bruriah’s amazing learning lishma opportunities that focuses on the parshat hashavua. The committee creates a guided source sheet about the parsha, a “wrap-up” video from a student or faculty member. This wrap-up video discusses an individual source or overall idea, brought down in the sourcesheet and fuses his/her unique interpretation of it. The source sheet and video are sent to the school on Friday afternoon, in time for the girls to learn on their bus ride home. That explains the committee name, Uvilechticha Vaderech.
