Friends of a 21-year-old man killed in a house fire last week have raised more than $20,000 for a memorial and for his family members in Haiti.

I am currently asking for donations to help aid his family through this difficult time. Chadly sent a portion of every check he’s ever earned here to his family back in Haiti .So, all of the donations will be going towards his memorial, his family and his memory.

WOODBRIDGE – A 21-year-old man who died in a fire Wednesday morning at an Inman Avenue home in the Avenel section has been identified as a township man.
Chadly Julien was found in the basement of the home at 88 Inman Ave. and pronounced dead at the scene, Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and Woodbridge Police Director Robert Hubner announced Friday night.
Authorities responded around 9:12 a.m. Wednesday on a report of a fire at the single-family home, a township fire official said, after a passerby or neighbor saw smoke coming from the home. They banged on the door alerting the father, who called out to other family members inside the house, the official said.
