Court fixes August 10 for holding charge framing hearing in 11 cases against Khaleda

A Dhaka court today fixed August 10 for hearing on charge framing against BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia in 11 cases including a sedition case.
After a two-and-a-half-month-long vacation due Covid-19 pandemic, Judge KM Emrul Kayesh of Dhaka Metropolitan Sessions Judge s Court set the new date for hearing in the cases.
Of the 11 cases, 10 were filed in the first three months of 2015 over arson attacks on vehicles. The other case was filed with a Dhaka court on charge of making seditious comments about the freedom fighters and the martyrs of the Liberation War of 1971.
