GEORGETOWN, Ky. (LEX 18) â A Georgetown woman is trying to turn a very public mistake in her life into hope for those struggling with addiction.
Donna Martin was arrested in 2019 when she was accused of breaking into a Georgetown Bar after hours and stayed there until the employees came in to open. That night at the bar I was actually in a really bad meth psychosis, said Martin.
Martin says her mind was literally gone and it was an out-of-body experience. But after that night and all the public shaming came a transformation that turned her life in a new direction.
