Boogie Down at Providence Rink Roller Disco Thursdays and Fridays Live music starts at 6 p.m. every Thursday and Friday, and there are different performances each week by different artists. June 1, 2021 Beginning on Thursday, June 3, the Providence Rink will transform its outdoor skating rink into a Roller Disco. Following the Thursday kickoff event, Disco Thursdays and Fridays will continue every Thursday and Friday from 5-10 p.m. The BankNewport City Center is collaborating with the Conscious Club to provide groovy songs from hit deejays and live acts. FirstWorks Relaunches In-Person Performances With FirstWorks Live

FirstWorks announced today a free summer concert series in the outdoor setting of the park, in partnership with Roger Williams Park Conservancy and the Providence Parks Department. The FirstWorks Live-Music at Roger Williams Park series features six free Sunday afternoon performances, kicking off on June 27, 2021, and running through September 19, 2021. The series offers a global journey from Polynesian dance and drums to Andean folk music, international hip-hop to Caribbean Carnival, red-hot Latin jazz to red roots Americana.
