This hour-long program is designed to provide adults a chance to socialize at the library. Join us for a brief game, craft, or gentle chair exercise. Then we will enjoy some healthy snacks and the company of one another. These programs are an extension of the Memory Cafe. Please register in advance.
Mindfulness is the practice of being present in each moment, exactly how you are. It can be practiced seated, standing and involves some very gentle stretching and walking. Mindfulness practice experienced over time benefits the whole body by cultivating a toned and more resilient nervous system and a clearer, calmer mind. Anyone can practice Mindfulness.
