Joyce Miller Bean, Indigenous Storyteller Join the Illinois State Museum in celebrating Native American Heritage Month by welcoming storyteller Joyce Miller Bean. During this virtual program, Joyce will explore why storytelling matters and then share stories of different Indigenous communities. Joyce is an African American and Native American of the Mvskoke-Creek tribal nation and has been a professional storyteller for over thirty years. Registration is required and Certified Professional Development Units (CPDU) hours for Illinois Educators will be offered for this program.

Join Lincoln Land Community College Geology Professor Samantha Rief as she explores how the climate changed naturally in the past millions of years, what our current understanding of this change is, and how the current change is different.
