VENICE, Fla. – A 6-foot alligator that got stuck in a storm drain was freed by some Florida deputies.
A jogger in Venice, Florida first spotted the stuck gator Tuesday morning and reported it to deputies, according to a tweet from the Sarasota County Sheriff s Office.

An alligator was spotted eerily peering out of a storm drain Monday in Florida.
The Sarasota County Sheriff s Office tweeted that deputies responded to a 6-foot alligator that was stuck in a Venice drain.
Deputies were able to lift the concrete slab to free the reptile.
The alligator was later released unharmed.
