Obituary for Wayne Harold Lyle Stone

Posted: December 30, 2020 WAYNE HAROLD LYLE STONE JUNE 8, 1941 – DECEMBER 20, 2021 Wayne passed away unexpectedly at the East Kootenay Regional Hospital surrounded by his family on Sunday, December 20, 2020. Wayne is survived by his high school sweetheart and  loving wife of 57 years, Barbara (McArthur), his Son Blair and wife Karena, grandson Joshua, grandaughter Kristina of Port Coquiltlam and daughter Brenda and spouse Kerry and granddaughter Sarah of White Rock.  Wayne was loved and will be missed by his brother and sister-in-laws, nieces and nephews and extended family  Wayne was  predeceased by his parents Jessie and Wilfred Stone and brother Robert. Wayne began school in Kimberley before attending vocational School for Carpentry. He was initiated in the Carpenters Local 1719  in 1961 and apprenticed with Kootenay District Council of Carpenters &  Woodworkers  building houses  & Industrial Work. In 1967 he became Business Agent  for the Kootenay District
