The Fleetwood Area Public Library is looking for community organizations and businesses in the Fleetwood Area to take part in a three-part conversation series called âWhere is Forward?â
During summer and early fall, the library will be hosting in-person and virtual conversations via Zoom in the community to discuss: âWhere have we been?â âWhere are we now?â and âWhere are we going?â
In August, the library opened a new facility with dedicated spaces for children, teens, and programs for all ages. It was part of the libraryâs long-term vision to Drive Fleetwood Forward.

âThe goal of our âWhere is Forwardâ conversation series is to celebrate past community achievements, address current community problems, and provide a means to work together to fulfill the needs of our community into the future,â Director Carin Mileshosky said.
Observations from the Library
Director of AHMFL
First of all, I am delighted to say that the library is open again. We are still on reduced hours (24/week) but we are open on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. We hope to be fully open, including weekends by June 1st. Just call or check our website for specifics.
We do plan to continue virtual programs and curb side pickup after we re open as those two services have been a huge hit with our patrons. But starting in April and May, we will begin to gradually add back some in-person programs at the library and outside.
