Weve commented not only on the Student Assignment, but at the september 14th meeting for the Budget Service committee, where we saw the transportation presentation. The recurring theme here between Student Assignment and transportation is that the inequity is a cost driver. The fact that we dont have supports and services and programs at all of our schools means that Going Forward [simultaneous talking] our students have to be driven across town in some cases to get the appropriate program. And we have routes that go across the bay into multiple counties. One of the ways that we can fix this would be providing more support and services in our district, providing more supports and services at every school. Under red flag warnings throughout the course of this past evening, well be throughout the day today and into the middle of the day tomorrow as winds continue to be quite gusty up in the north bay. Its been 20 to 30 mile per hour gusts, pretty consistently across many of our north bay cities in our inland east bay areas. The deeper red contours on here showing you where winds are the most problematic right now. In addition to the already very dry conditions. We remain windy through the morning. Hold back the winds a little bit this afternoon coming down for some areas and then it picks right back into gear come the evening tonight, staying windy through early tomorrow before we do eventually see some common conditions.
